Info: Provides residential and day-care services to help individuals and families recover from the physical and emotional effects of alcohol and drug problems and to achieve healthy, productive lives. Free-standing addictions facility, specialising in working with NHS and statutory providers. Also accepts self-funded patients and patients who are covered by private medical insurance.

Info: This is a Christian charity and offers a counselling service which is open to those of all faiths, or none and there is no specifically religious input (18+ yrs). They focus on the issues underlying the clients use of alcohol or for people affected by someone else's alcoholism. Services offered include: Five day a week programme for clients in early recovery, short term intervention counselling, couple counselling/family support group for clients, 12 step study group. Also offers 12 step study group, training and advice for professionals. There is disabled access and toilet facilities and there is help and individual support for those with learning difficulties. There is no waiting period and no charges.

Info: Young people aged 18 and under who have a substance use/misuse problem who also have difficulties with their emotional or mental health. Young people dependent on opiates. Offering ongoing support and detox. Also work with young people who have a significant emotional or mental health problem and who have been affected by the misuse of others. Flexible, will see young people where they want to be seen. Young people can ring, text or get someone else to get in touch.

B.A.C-I.N Self Help Support Group

Info: Black and Asian Cultural Identification of Narcotics hold meetings for men and women who are seeking recovery from substance misuse (drugs and alcohol). Self help support that is culturally sensitive and appropriate to the needs of Black and Asian men and women. Also provide outings and activities away from the drug and pub scene.

Info: Operates an out of hours 12 step abstinence based day programme for substance misuse. Services provided include one-to-one counselling, drug therapy and workshops. The service is staffed by qualified councillors, therapists and some voluntary workers.
