Saturday 13th March 2010 - The Jason Spencer Trophy pool tournament to be held at Rileys, Nottingham
The Jason Spencer Memorial pool tournament is held every year at Rileys Nottingham in honour of ' Jason Spencer' who lost his life to knife crime on the 6th March 2007 aged 17..... a much loved son, cousin, nephew, grandchild, and friend.
Why Riley's?... Rileys has a fun, relaxed and friendly atmosphere and it was Jason's favourite place to chill out and of course play pool. It was one of the last places he visited and therefore holds a special place in our hearts.
The Events main priority besides the usual having fun! is to help promote and raise awareness around 'Knife crime issues' thus helping to create a much more SAFER and UNITED community for all.
By attending this event not only will you be celebrating Jason's life but you will also be showing your support in the fight against KNIFE CRIME!...so cues at the ready... then let's play pool!!
THIS TOURNAMENT IS OPEN TO ALL AGES & SEXES!! so girls...dont be shy give it a try & give the boys a run for their money!! :-P
